Make Room Pt. 2 | 7 Hebraic Praises
In Make Room: Part 2 – 7 Hebraic Praises, Pastor Adam continues Hill City’s worship series by challenging us to create intentional space in our lives to simply be with Jesus. Looking at Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38–42, Pastor Adam shows the difference between being busy doing things for Jesus and making room to worship Him. In a world filled with responsibilities, distractions, and constant demands, this message encourages us to develop a daily habit of slowing down, entering God’s presence, and choosing what Jesus calls “better.”
Through Psalm 100 and other powerful scriptures, Pastor Adam explores the seven Hebraic expressions of praise—Yadah, Hallel, Tehilah, Todah, Zamar, Barach, and Shabach—and reveals how biblical worship involves more than words. From lifting our hands in surrender and praising God before the victory comes, to singing, playing instruments, kneeling in reverence, and shouting with joy, each expression teaches us how our hearts respond to the worth of God. At Hill City, we are reminded that praise has a posture, worship goes beyond personality, and when we make room for Jesus, our worship can shift the atmosphere and deepen our relationship with Him.
