Light Has Come
Pastor Adam delivers a powerful Christmas message at Hill City Church centered on John 3:19–21, declaring that the Light has come. In this present-tense teaching, Pastor Adam connects Jesus as the Light of the World to the familiar beauty of Christmas lights, tracing their meaning back to Christ Himself. Through Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus, the message reveals a sobering truth: humanity often loves darkness over light, yet God lovingly sends His Son anyway. The Light of Jesus exposes what is broken, not to condemn, but to redeem, heal, and bring peace. Just as the shepherds were terrified when the glory of God shone around them, stepping into the light can feel uncomfortable—but it ultimately leads to transformation and joy.
This message also highlights how the Light not only reveals truth but guides us forward, illustrated through the journey of the Magi in Matthew 2. Pastor Adam explains how these priest-scholars followed God’s revelation step by step, allowing the Light to interrupt their routines, reorder their priorities, and lead them away from destruction and into purpose. At Hill City, this sermon calls believers to commit daily to following Jesus, trusting that obedience brings clarity, direction, and the miraculous. Even when the journey is long, the Light of Christ always leads to Him—and into the purpose He has designed for our lives.
