The BEST way to create a LASTING legacy! How God affects generations

When God redeems a life, He doesn’t just change a person—He sets a new course for entire generations. Psalms 71:23 reminds us to shout and sing praises for the redemption we have received, a redemption that restores, repairs, and changes us for the better. On the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:39), Peter declared that God's promises are not just for us, but for our children and generations yet to come. Every family carries a legacy—some beautiful, some broken—but when God intervenes, He can honor obedience across a thousand generations (Deuteronomy 5:10), start a new legacy from one decision (Ezekiel 18:19), and break cycles of dysfunction through people willing to say "yes" to Him. Like Josiah, who tore down a wicked legacy (2 Kings 22-23), or Timothy, who was shaped by his mother and grandmother’s sincere faith (2 Timothy 1:5), our faithfulness today lays the foundation for greatness tomorrow.

You are not trapped by your family’s past. One bold decision to follow Jesus—like Joshua’s declaration, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15)—can redirect an entire lineage. Whether you come from a long line of believers or you're the first in your family to follow Christ, God can redeem your present and change your family’s future. You are the pivot point; the reset button God is using to build a new legacy. Today is a call to prayer, to commitment, and to salvation—because you’re not just being redeemed for you; you’re setting up a spiritual inheritance that can impact generations to come.
